Briefly about Brynild and our history

Brynild is a family-owned company with roots dating back to 1895. We have Norway’s only factory that produces chocolate, confectionery, and nuts under one roof, and we are behind some of Norway’s most well-known brands in nuts and candy, such as Den Lille Nøttefabrikken, Dent, Brynild, Minde Chocolate, and St. Michael. Brynild is also the distributor in Norway for products from NIVEA and Bazooka Candy Brands.

Brynild has production and office facilities in Fredrikstad, and also owns the candy factory Troll-Gott, which is located in Årjäng, Sweden. Brynild and its parent company, Brynild Holding AS, are still owned by the Brynildsen family.
